It was 2020 and we survived as best we could
The story of how we released the 2020 Survivors medal
Apocalypse Scenario
The year 2020 presented so many surprises that it would be enough ten years in advance. Fires in Australia, almost the outbreak of the third world war, locusts in Africa, financial crises and, of course, the Covid-19 pandemic. The events of 2020 are reminiscent of the scenario of a cheap disaster movie based on the biblical book of Revelation. It is not hard to guess that the idea of a commemorative medal "Survivors in 2020" lay on the surface. But before talking about it, I would like to remember the following.

3D-modeling of medals
From wrestlers to survivors
We are no stranger to large-scale projects. Even before the Pirogov Order and the Luka Krymsky Medal were established in Russia, we released our medal for the fight against the pandemic. Award turned out to be so universal that we decided to reward the whole world with it. Perhaps the plan is too ambitious, but nevertheless we are gradually implementing it. For example, we recently accepted an order for a batch of medals for the wrestlers against Covid-19 from South Carolina (USA). And this is just the beginning.

3D-modeling of medals
Welcome to zombieland
We created the 2020 Survivors Medal when this magnificent year finally tire us out. This was reflected and in the design of the medal. At first we were going to portray Leonardo DiCaprio on it. But, having learned how much money the actor wants for using his image, they were forced to abandon this idea. Therefore, the final version turned out exactly like this. On the obverse there is the number 2020 in the form of a falling financial index. In the foreground, people are fleeing from zombies. At the bottom of the medal there is a semicircle silhouette with recognizable “teeth of the crown”. The reverse has a single inscription: "2021?" This table medal with a diameter of 62 mm turned out to be quite weighty. If everything turns out to be really bad in the new 2021, it will also come in handy as a brass knuckle. What's next?

Hope for the best
“Everyone believes in the best,” sang the character of the famous cartoon. So we really want to hope for the best. To believe that in the end people will take off their masks and enjoy life like the good old days. And the medal ... in any case, it will remain as a reminder of what may be. So that we all stay alert.
